Het cardioïde pickup pattern isoleert van externe geluidsbronnen en heeft een hoge gain-before-feedback. De draadframe en zwanenhals zijn aan elk formaat hoofd en vorm aan te passen. Een geïntegreerde elastische hoofdband zorgt ervoor dat de headset comfortabel aanvoelt en goed op zijn plaats blijft zitten.
De WH30 is verkrijgbaar met een XLR-kabel. Er is ook een WH30-TQG-versie voor gebruik met een van de bodypack-systemen van Shure.
