Eppingen/Germany, June 15, 2012 - - Effective January 01, 2013, Shure Distribution Netherlands will become Shure Benelux and will assume responsibility for distribution in both the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
The Shure Europe subsidiary based in the Brussels region will be led by Managing Director Willem van Zuilekom, who will be responsible for all sales and marketing aspects in these countries.
“Following the opportunity given by the existing Belgian distributor’s ASC sa-nv wish to resign the distribution of Shure and DIS, we decided to resume distribution in Belgium in line with our overall strategic plans. This provides an opportunity to enhance our presence and to adapt our customer support and marketing initiatives.” explains Markus Winkler, Managing Director Shure Europe.
Van Zuilekom adds: “Now we can get even closer to the customers and the market which allows us to reinforce relationships on a local level.”
Shure Distribution Benelux will be responsible for all Shure related sales and marketing activities for the pro audio, MI retail and installed markets plus the sole distribution of DIS (Danish Interpretation Systems) in both countries.
The current distribution partner for Belgium, ASC, will continue representing Shure until December 28, 2012. “ASC is a competent and reliable business partner and we would like to thank them for their outstanding commitment during the last 21 years of collaboration.
